May 4th, 2009Welcome to Nuneaton Green Party website.
Last year we had candidates in every ward in the Warwickshire County Council elections. This showed a good support for the Green Party across Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire. If we had proportional representation Warwickshire county council would have around 6 green councillors.
This year we are have candidates in the areas we had the best support and are very keen to get more members so that we can run a full slate next time. We are very keen to get a good mix of candidates and ran more female candidates that the other parties last year.
Even one green councillor can raise questions, fight cuts to services and fight for Nuneaton & Bedworth. Sadly the Tories and Labour to often cannot go against the Tory County Council or Labour government polices.
A green councillor has to work for you far harder that those in the big parties.
